The music was spot on all night, the dance floor was full, and the energy never dropped. He read the room perfectly, mixed everything seamlessly, and created the exact atmosphere we hoped for. So many of our guests commented on how good the music was and how much fun they had. James also captured some brilliant photos and videos which was an added bonus! Professional, friendly, and genuinely talented! We couldn’t have asked for better. Highly recommended 5☆

You made our evening reception so much fun and I genuinely had the best time ever. I didn’t want to leave the dance floor once (and I don’t think I actually did) because it was just banger after banger. I loved the way you mixed the songs together and how you really listened to everything we asked for. Every time me or the groom came over, you let us jump on the decks and have a go at being the DJ, which made for some absolutely cracking photos and gave us an experience we will never forget. We are so pleased we booked you for our wedding and we will definitely be recommending you to our friends and family. Thank you so much for making our night unforgettable.

We loved how you kept in touch over email and gave us a phone call a few days before. This was a lovely unexpected gesture and helped to calm the nerves a little. You kept us in the loop all evening on Saturday, explaining in detail what you were doing regarding the first dance, last dance etc so thank you so much for that! Everything ran so smoothly. We absolutely loved the first dance! We loved how accommodating you were and how you let us have a go on your DJ decks and my dad hasn’t stopped talking about this! He loved it! DJ Dave, haha! From start to finish, he absolutely kept the party going and created such an amazing atmosphere on the dancefloor. He played all the music we love, took on board our requests perfectly, and even kept our guests happy by mixing in their requests too. One of the highlights was getting the chance to jump into the DJ booth ourselves—such a fun and memorable touch that really made the night extra special! James also worked seamlessly with Spencer Sax, despite it being their first time working together, which really shows his professionalism and adaptability. Everything just flowed so effortlessly. On top of all that, his communication throughout was brilliant—clear, friendly, and reassuring—and he’s genuinely such a lovely guy to work with. The pre-wedding conversation was done well in advance of the wedding day and James ensured that we understood how best to fit the music around the day in a way that allowed things to flow well. He also made sure we could contact him with ease if there were any extra questions or uncertainties we needed to be clarified at any point. James managed to gather people around the dancefloor in a way that seemed effortless. From the moment our first dance reached its conclusion, he had already got the majority of guests onto the dancefloor - even people we wouldn’t have expected to dance! The music went through different stages of genres and there were songs to suit everybody at varying times of the evening. He accepted song requests and transitioned between songs so very well - managing to alternate between pop and heavy rock songs which kept people on the dancefloor. James allowed myself and my wife to have a go at DJing and that was a lot of fun and definitely something neither of us would have expected to have had the opportunity to do. It gave the guests something extra to applaud us for. From the beginning of his set to the toll of the midnight bell, it was an evening of heightened emotions and togetherness which added to the happiness and joy of the day for all attendees. Both myself and my wife cannot fault James’s contribution to out perfect wedding day. We would highly recommend his custom to others!
